Actress Akshara Haasan will be making her Tamil acting debut with upcoming yet-untitled film featuring Ajith Kumar in the lead.
The movie, which is referred as 'Thala 57', also stars Kajal Aggarwal and is currently on the floors in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.
Kajal Aggarwal's Look
As reported earlier, Kajal Aggarwal plays Ajith's wife in the film. Her looks for the movie has been revealed and the same is doing the rounds in almost all social media networks.
Getting In Shape

The 'Ulagam Sutrum Valiban' Connection
The producer of 'Thala 57' has said that the film will be Ajith's Ulagam Sutrum Valiban as the movie will travel through most parts of Europe. Ulagam Sutrum Valiban (1973) features MGR, who goes around the world to avert a crisis.
Anushka To Play A Cameo?
As reported earlier, Thala 57 will feature a third heroine. Now, speculations are rife that Anushka might be roped in to play the role, which is of vital importance.
Many names including the likes of Vijay Sethupathi and Arvind Swamy were discussed, but none have been roped in to play the film's antagonist. Official confirmation regarding the same is awaited.
5 Songs In The Album?
It is said that the album of 'Thala 57' will house 5 songs including the theme music. Anirudh has already composed 2 songs, it is said.
The film is expected to hit the screen early next year. Don't be surprised if it swoops into cinema halls worldwide for Pongal 2017.
"Akshara plays the second leading lady and she has an action-oriented role. While Ajith will be seen as an Interpol agent, Akshara will be seen as his partner," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Interestingly, a few days ago, speculations were rife that the film will feature a third heroine and that she will be seen playing a cameo. Looks like the team is yet to zero in on the third actress.
Being directed by Siva, who had earlier helmed Ajith's Veeram and Vedalam, nearly 70 percent of the film will be shot abroad and the rest in India.
Thala 57 is tipped to be a thriller which involves a murder.
"Ajith investigates a murder that takes place in Tamil Nadu and some clues lead him to Europe where most of the film will be shot," the source added.
Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, the Ajith-starrer will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander, who had earlier worked in Vedalam.
