AR Murugadoss' Next: Thala Ajith's Loss Is Mahesh Babu's Gain?

    |

If the news, AR Murugadoss teaming up with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu for the first time for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual wasn't exciting enough, the latest report pertaining to the project will surely get you animated as Thala Ajith has something to do with this film.

No, he is not making a cameo appearance nor involved in the project at the moment. But the connection between Ajith and Mahesh Babu's upcoming flick is rather an interesting one.

Mahesh Babu, Ajith And AR Murugadoss

It is said that Murugadoss had earlier narrated the same script to Thala Ajith and had titled the movie as 'Rettai Thala'.

Unfortunately, the movie which would've portrayed Ajith as a hero and villain (dual roles), did not take off for reasons unknown.

When the same script was narrated to Mahesh Babu, the Selvandhan actor, after being impressed with the story, gave his consent to move ahead with the project, according to a report.

Mahesh Babu is currently working on his big budget Telugu project Brahmotsavam, being directed by Srikanth Addala.
