It
is
a
known
fact
that
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay
will
be
joining
hands
with
his
Azhagiya
Tamil
Magan
director
Bharathan
for
his
60th
film,
which
is
being
referred
as
Vijay
60.
While
the
crew
of
the
film
was
made
known
a
few
days
ago,
new
addition
to
the
already
impressive
cast,
Daniel
Balaji
has
opened
up
about
his
role
in
the
upcoming
film.
Speaking
to
Behindwoods,
the
Polladhavan
actor
has
said
his
role
would
be
pivotal
in
the
movie,
"I
have
finalized
the
project.
Although
there
is
already
Jagapathy
Babu
in
the
film,
I
liked
my
track
when
I
listened
to
the
narration.
Both
our
roles
will
be
pivotal
to
the
story
line."
When
asked
about
his
character,
Daniel
has
said
that
his
role
will
be
unique,
much
like
his
roles
in
some
of
the
previous
films
like
Kamal
Haasan's
Vettaiyaadu
Vilaiyaadu
and
Thala
Ajith's
Yennai
Arindhaal.
"My
role
as
Amudhan
in
'Vettaiyaadu
Vilaiyaadu'
was
a
different
one
and
in
'Yennai
Arindhaal',
even
though
I
appeared
in
just
one
scene,
it
acted
as
a
powerful
trigger
for
Ajith's
character
to
be
influenced.
In
a
similar
breath,
my
character
in
'Vijay
60'
also
will
be
unique
which
requires
a
unique
kind
of
performance.
I
have
a
full
fledged
role
in
the
film
which
is
quite
massy.
Bharathan
felt
that
it
would
be
better
if
I
bulk
up
as
I
am
a
little
slim
now.
By
the
time
I
go
to
the
sets,
I
would
put
on
some
weight.
I
am
happy
and
excited
to
be
in
Vijay
sir's
film," he
has
said.
He
has
also
confirmed
that
the
film
will
go
on
floors
very
soon,
"The
film
goes
on
floors
around
the
second
week
of
April
but
I
would
join
them
after
I
complete
my
present
assignments
which
include
'Mayavan',
'Ulta',
'88'
and
also
a
Kannada
film.
