WEEKEND BOX OFFICE: 'Hello Naan Pei Pesuren' & 'Darling 2'

Two prominent Tamil movies were released last Friday (April 1st). While Hello Naan Pei Pesuren, starring Vaibhav Reddy, Aishwarya Rajesh, VTV Ganesh and Karunakaran in important roles, was a horror-comedy, Darling 2 was a full-fledged horror flick.

Starring Vaibhav Reddy, Kaali Venkat, Maya, Arjunan and Ramdoss in the lead, Darling 2 hadn't managed to impress the critics. So what is its box office prospect over the weekend?

Well, according to trade analysts Darling 2 may not have a great run at the box office, considering the challenged posed by Hello Naan Pei Pesuren.

In Tamil Nadu alone, the Sathish Chandrasekaran directorial may end up collecting close to 3.5 Crore rupees, by the time it finishes its weekend run.

On the other hand, the Vaibhav Reddy starrer may fare better. It is predicted that the film might gather close to 7.5 Crores from Tamil Nadu alone in its opening weekend.
