Last
Friday
(July
1),
two
prominent
Tamil
movies
had
swooped
into
cinema
halls
across
Tamil
Nadu.
While
Jackson
Durai
was
a
horror-comedy,
Appa
was
a
social
oriented
drama.
Now,
it
is
time
for
us
to
check
out
the
box
office
prospects
of
both
these
movies
over
their
opening
weekend
(first
three
days).
According
to
trade

has
been

made
by

by
the
end
of
its
first
weekend.
The
movie,
which
stars
Sathyaraj,
Sibiraj,
Bindu
Madhavi,
Karunakaran
and
Rajendran
in
key
roles,
might
go
on
to
gather
close
to
6.5
Crore
rupees
from
the
whole
of
Tamil
Nadu,
it
is
said.
On
the
other
hand,
Appa,
which
has
been
directed
and
bankrolled
by
Samuthirakani,
might
amass
5
Crores
(approx)
from
its
first
three
days
in
Tamil
Nadu,
according
to
trade
analysts.
Appa
stars
Samuthirakani,
