office
records
in
India
and
overseas.

Collections

1
Kabali
smashed
the
record
held
by
Salman
Khan's
Sultan
to
become
the
highest
opening
grosser
on
day
1
in
India.
While
Sultan
had
grossed
36.54
Crores,
Kabali
managed
to
amass
a
massive
53
Crore
rupees.
It
is
to
be
noted
that
Sultan
had
an
added
advantage
as
it
released
during
a
festival
weekend.

Kabali
was

alone

weekend,

is
the

for

Indian

domestic
market,

(Kabali)
collected

whopping
Rs
128
Crore
from
the
opening
weekend.
It's
the
best
ever
opening
for
a
South
Indian
film," trade
analyst
Trinath
had
said.

Five

The
superstar-starrer
became
the
fastest
South
Indian
film
to
join
the
200
Crore
club.
It
managed
to
achieve
this
terrific
feat
in
just
5
days
from
its
theatrical
release.
"'Kabali'
is
the

South
Indian
film
to
rake
in
over
Rs

Crore
at
the
box
office
worldwide
in
just
five
days.
As
on
Tuesday
(July
26),
'Kabali'
has
grossed
Rs
205
Crore
and
this
includes
the
three
languages
in
which
the
film
was
released," Trinath
told
IANS.
Setting
Premiere
Shows
On
Fire
In
USA,
Kabali
managed
to
collect
a
whopping
$2
Million
from
its
premiere
shows,
beating
Baahubali
which
had
collected
$1.39
Million,
to
become
the
highest
grosser
for
any
Indian
movie
at
US
premieres.
In
UK,
the
Ranjith
directorial
had
reportedly
gathered
£93,835
from
its
premiere
shows.
This
again,
is
said
to
be
a
record
in
the
country
for
any
Tamil
movie.
Similarly,
in
France,
Kabali
was
said
to
have
garnered
an
impressive
41,280€,
while
in
UAE,
it
had
crossed
the
$1
Million
mark
from
its
premiere
shows.
