'Kabali' Success Meet: Producer Thanu Confirms First Week Box Office Collections

In the success meet held last night, producer 'Kalaipuli' S Thanu has confirmed the first week’s box office collection of superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Kabali’.

The event was organized in Chennai and was graced by actors John Vijay, Mime Gopi, Kalaiyarasan Harish, Dinesh Ravi and Riythivika among others.

In just few days from the day of its worldwide theatrical release, the Pa Ranjith directorial managed to rake in Crores of rupees, becoming one of the biggest blockbusters of South India.

According to Thanu, ‘Kabali’ is now the highest grosser for any Tamil movie.

In just six days from its release, the gangster drama has amassed a gigantic 320 Crores, becoming the first Tamil film to join the 300 Crore club.

The box office success was celebrated by the team of ‘Kabali’ by treating themselves to a sumptuous cake. Also present were director Ranjith, cameraman Murali and other technical crew members.
