Unveiled: Mani Ratnam's 'Kaatru Veliyidai' First Look Poster!

The much anticipated Mani Ratnam's next Tamil directorial has been titled Kaatru Veliyidai, and its makers unveiled the first look poster here in Chennai on Thursday (July 7).

Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari, the poster gives a glimpse of the chemistry, the lead actors will share in the film.

Also evident in the poster are a few war aircrafts, flying doves and Kashmir border, which make us wonder if this is a love story with a war backdrop, much like Mani's Roja and Dil Se.

Ratnam will be reportedly filming the first schedule of the movie in Kashmir. In the movie, which has its music composed by AR Rahman, Karthi plays a pilot and Aditi will be seen as a doctor.

The film will be jointly produced by Madras Talkies and Thenandal Films.

Meanwhile, Karthi is also busy wrapping up work for his upcoming horror film, Kaashmora. Being directed by Gokul of Rowthiram and Idharkuthaney Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, the film also stars Nayantara, Sri Divya, Manisha Yadav and Vivekh in important roles.
