DECODED: Meaning Of Iraivi & Its First Look Poster!

Thanks to Karthik Subbaraj's out of the box thinking and innovative films, the young film-maker is making strides in the Tamil film industry. That's precisely why his upcoming film Iraivi is one among the most anticipated Tamil films this year.

That being the case, the first look poster of the movie had been long awaited by movie buffs across the state and the same has finally been released by the Pizza director himself.

Taking to his official Twitter page, Karthik Subbaraj made available the title first look of the movie. "Here we go friends.... #Iraivi title first look !! Teaser from Jan 8th 6 pm "Few woMEN's Tale" is on the way!! :)" He posted along with Iraivi's first look.

Now, for those who are wondering what does the word 'Iraivi' translate to, it simply denotes the Roman Goddess Venus or the Greek Goddess Aphrodite.

Historically, the planet Venus is associated with feminism. Also, some of the ancient civilizations were ardent worshippers of sacred Goddesses, which is now considered taboo in many religions.

Iraivi, as the first look poster suggests, might probably talk about feminism and the importance of women in today's society.
