When
it
comes
to
technology
and
the
overall
film-making
skills,
Tamil
cinema
might
have
scaled
newer
heights
in
the
past
few
years,
but
talk
about
a
lip-lock
scene
and
we
might
still
find
ourselves
covering
our
faces
in
embarrassment.
That's
exactly
what
Luthfudeen
Baasha,
who
made
his
cinema
debut
with
AL
Vijay's
Saivam,
has
said
in
one
of
his
recent
interviews.
Luthfudeen,
Nassar's
second
son,
was
in
the
limelight
when
the
young
actor
was
caught
locking
his
lips
with
a
Singaporean
actress.
Before
you
jump
to
conclusions,
the
lip-lock
happened
on
the
sets
of
his
upcoming
movie
Parandhu
Sella
Vaa,
being
directed
by
Dhanapal
Padmanaban.
Looks
like
Luthfudeen
will
be
romancing
Narelle
Kheng,
a
Singapore-based
actress,
in
the
movie
and
the
romantic
scene
was
recently
shot
in
the
city.
Talking
about
it,
Luthfudeen
has
said,
"I
think
it
is
only
in
our
state
that
lip-lock
scenes
are
considered
taboo.
I
had
no
apprehension
about
kissing
on
screen.
Also,
my
co-star
is
a
Singaporean,
and
she
was
comfortable
with
it."
The
Idhu
Enna
Maayam
actor
has
said
it
just
took
him
a
single
take
to
get
that
perfect
shot.
"That
scene
was
already
in
the
script,
and
so,
I
was
prepared
for
it.
But
then,
considering
that
it's
a
Tamil
film,
I
wanted
to
ask
the
director
if
there
was
any
other
alternative,
but
even
before
that,
the
director
went
for
the
take.
However,
I
okayed
it
in
one
take," he
told
Times
of
India.
Being
the
son
of
a
respectable
actor,
Luthfudeen
has
said
his
parents
were
okay
with
it
as
they
understand
the
professionalism
behind
such
scenes.
"They
understand
it's
just
a
film.
Even
violent
murder
scenes
are
shown
on
screen.
While
they
are
taken
lightly,
lip-lock
becomes
an
issue," Luthfudeen
has
said.
Also
starring
Aishwarya
Rajesh,
Sathish
and
Karunakaran
in
prominent
roles,
Parandhu
Sella
Vaa
is
being
bankrolled
by
P
Arumaichandran.
