Actor-filmmaker
Kamal
Haasan
on
Friday
(April
29)
revealed
that
his
upcoming
trilingual
project
would
be
titled
Sabaash
Naidu
in
Tamil
and
Telugu,
while
the
Hindi
version
would
be
titled
as
Sabaash
Kundu.
During
the
official
launch
of
the
film
here
in
Chennai,
Haasan
revealed
that
his
next
project
will
be
simultaneously
shot
in
Tamil,
Telugu
and
Hindi.
To
be
directed
by
TK
Rajeev
Kumar,
the
film
will
also
star
Ramya
Krishnan,
Shruti
Haasan
and
Brahmanandam.
In
the
film,
Haasan
will
revive
the
popular
character
Balram
Naidu
from
his
2008
Tamil
action-comedy
Dasavathaaram.
Popular
Telugu
comedian
Brahmanandam
will
play
his
sidekick
Appa
Rao,
played
by
late
choreographer-actor
Raghuram
in
Dasavathaaram.
Produced
by
Raaj
Kamal
International
in
association
with
Lyca
Productions,
the
makers
plan
to
go
on
the
floors
in
the
second
week
of
May,
probably
on
May
14th.
The
film
will
be
mostly
shot
in
the
US
and
will
have
maestro
Ilaiyaraaja's
music.
It
is
to
be
noted
that
Ilaiyaraaja
and
Kamal
Haasan
are
joining
hands
after
a
gap
of
11
years.
Music
lovers
around
the
world
would
be
hoping
for
yet
another
classical
album
from
the
famed
actor-musician
duo.
Also,
a
laugh
riot
will
be
expected
from
audiences
when
the
movie
hits
the
big
screen.
After
all,
it
was
this
character
Balram
Naidu
that
provided
the
much
needed
comical
relief
in
Dasavathaaram.
Reviving
a
famous
character
in
order
to
portray
the
same
in
an
entirely
different
movie
is
a
new
attempt
by
the
legendary
actor.
There
are
not
many
movies
(not
sure
if
there
are
any
at
all)
that
showcases
an
already
famous
character
in
a
different
film.
While
this
new
attempt
may
work
wonders,
it
might
also
go
haywire,
for
the
character
will
no
doubt
be
stretched
in
a
movie
like
this.
Get
ready
to
know
Balram
Naidu
better
along
with
his
family.
