Actor
Sundeep
Kishan
will
don
khaki
for
the
second
time
in
his
acting
career
in
the
upcoming
Tamil-Telugu
sci-fi
thriller
Mayavan,
which
marks
the
directorial
debut
of
producer
CV
Kumar.
"I
play
a
slightly
short-tempered,
realistic
police
officer.
I'm
quite
excited
about
the
role
and
I'm
really
kicked
about
working
with
producer
Kumar,
a
man
with
a
vision.
We've
been
friends
for
a
long
time
and
it's
lovely
to
be
working
together
finally," Sundeep
told
IANS.
Sundeep
had
also
donned
khaki
for
his
Telugu
film
DK
Bose
which,
unfortunately,
never
saw
the
light
of
the
day.
He
doesn't
consider
the
police
character
being
jinxed
after
DK
Bose.
"I
don't
believe
in
such
things.
As
a
team,
we're
confident
about
this
project
and
I'm
really
looking
forward
to
start
shooting,"
he
said,
adding
that
the
film
is
a
commercial
outing
with
a
sci-fi
angle.
The
film,
which
has
screenplay
and
dialogues
by
Nalan
Kumarasamy,
also
stars
Lavanya
Tripathi
and
Daniel
Balaji
in
important
roles.
