"After
each
and
every
shot,
Ranjith
would
stare
at
the
monitor
and
that
caused
Rajinikanth
to
worry
a
lot.
Thinking
that
he
might
ask
for
a
re-take,
Rajini
sir
would
proactively
say
that
this
is
his
best
performance
in
40
years
and
that
he
cannot
go
for
a
re-take," John
Vijay
has

said
Ranjith
has
extracted
some
brilliant
performances
from
his
actors
and
that
the
film
will
hand
Rajinikanth
an
award.
"Rajini
sir
used
to
say
that
if
Ranjith
makes
him
to
act
like
this,
then
it
might
actually
fetch
him
an
award," John
says
and
adds,
Rajinikanth
has
no
other
option
but
to
accept
his
award
for
the
movie,
such
is
his
performance.
