Not
long
ago,
superstar
Rajinikanth
was
in
news
when
he
had
to
wait
at
an
airport
in
Chennai.
Though
speculations
were
rife
that
the
star
actor
was
detained
by
cops,
it
was
later
revealed
that
Rajinikanth
was
not
able
to
board
his
flight
as
he
had
failed
to
get
along
with
him,
his
passport.
Even
as
the
news
pertaining
to
this
incident
began
to
die
down
slowly,
similar
reports
emerged,
suggesting
that
Nayantara
was
detained
at
a
Malaysian
airport.
While
initially
people
were
made
to
believe
that
the
popular
actress
was
arrested
as
she
was
carrying
a
bagful
of
drugs,
hearsay
later
had
it
that
Nayanthara
was
facing
issues
with
her
passport.
But
all
that
has
been
clarified
as
the
team
of
Iru
Mugan,
the
actress'
upcoming
film
with
Vikram,
has
released
an
official
statement,
as
reported
by
OnlyKollywood.
"Work
permit
rules
in
Malaysia
are
different
in
the
two
terminals.
Usually,
travellers
to
India
travel
through
KL1.
But
the
new
airline
(Malindo)
operates
from
KL2.
There,
the
immigration
officials
had
few
clarifications
on
work
permit
and
visa
stamping
for
Nayanthara's
supporting
team.
Later,
Nayanthara
herself
spoke
to
the
authorities
and
sorted
out
the
issue
and
the
whole
team
travelled
back
to
India
smoothly."
