Even as the city of Chennai is yet to recover from the recent flood that caused havoc in many parts of the state, prominent celebrities like Harris Jayaraj, GV Prakash and Santhanam are trying hard to recover the damages suffered by their respective luxury cars through their insurance companies.
So high are the recovery costs of their high-end cars, these famed film personalities are having a tough time with their respective insurance agencies, who are reluctant to process their requests owing to the enormous repayment, according to a report from IndiaGlitz.
The cars in question are Lamborghini, Hummer and a Jaguar. All these brand new luxury vehicles are said to be damaged to such an extent that they have to be replaced with new ones, thanks to the devastating flood.
On the movies front, Santhanam is awaiting the release of his movies Vaaliba Raja, Tamilselvanum Thaniyar Anjalum, Nambiar and Idhu Namma Aalu.
GV Prakash is currently composing tunes for Vijay's Theri and shooting for his upcoming films Bruce Lee and Enakku Innoru Per Irukku. He is also awaiting the release of Pencil.
Harris is working on Suriya's Singam 3 and is awaiting the release of Udhayanidhi Stalin's Gethu. He will also compose music for a couple of Telugu films in the near future.
