Silambarasan,
who
had
contested
for
the
post
of
Vice
President
in
the
recently
concluded
'Nadigar
Sangam'
elections,
has
decided
to
withdraw
his
membership
from
the
Actors'
Association.
The
actor
has
claimed
that
'Nadigar
Sangam',
an
association
meant
to
help
actors,
failed
to
extend
its
hand
of
support
when
he
was
facing
crisis.
"I
have
decided
to
move
out
of
Nadigar
Sangam
due
to
various
reasons.
As
an
association
who
are
supposed
to
help
actors
during
crisis
or
problems,
they
have
failed.
I
have
not
got
any
kind
of
support
when
I
faced
issues,"
Simbu
has
told
sify.com.
What
more,
the
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaayaa
star
has
said
that
the
recently
organized
star
cricket
tournament
disappointed
him
as
it
made
most
of
the
actors
look
like
"jokers".
"The
recent
cricket
match
which
they
(Nadigar
Sangam)
conducted
made
me
so
upset.
Most
of
our
actors
were
made
to
look
like
jokers," he
has
said.
Though
Simbu
has
made
it
clear
that
he
wants
to
exit
from
the
Actors'
Association,
veteran
actress
Raadhika
Sarathkumar
has
requested
him
to
reconsider
his
decision.
"This
is
not
their
property,
it
is
our
association.
They
did
not
support
you,
but
you
won.
Reconsider
do
not
give
in
@iam_str." Raadhika
wrote
on
her
official
social
networking
page.
It
is
now
to
be
seen
if
Simbu
pays
heed
to
Raadhika's
advice.
Meanwhile,
Simbu
might
play
a
cop
in
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon's
upcoming
flick
Achcham
Yenbadhu
Madamaiyada,
as
he
was
spotted
wearing
khaki
on
the
sets
of
GV
Prakash's
Bruce
Lee.
Since
the
shooting
of
Bruce
Lee,
which
stars
GV
Prakash
Kumar
and
Kriti
Kharbanda
in
the
lead,
is
happening
on
the
same
floor
where
the
shooting
of
Achcham
Yenbadhu
Madamaiyada
is
going
on,
Simbu
took
out
time
to
give
the
Trisha
Illana
Nayanthara
star
a
visit.
