Simbu To Take On Vijay At The Box Office On April 14th?

With director Atlee confirming the release date of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Theri, movie buffs and fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of April 14th to catch their favourite star in action on the big screen.

Though the setting looks perfect for a grand Vijay release, Theri might face a strong competition at the box office, for the makers of Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada are eyeing to release their movie on April 14th as well, according to a report.

Starring Simbu and debutante Manjima Mohan in the lead, the film is expected to have its own set of audiences as personalities like Gautham Vasudev Menon and AR Rahman have worked in it.

Should Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada hit the theatre on April 14th, Kollywood may witness a fierce battle for supremacy during the four day festival weekend.

Also, it is to be seen if any other film joins the Tamil New Year race, which would then make the equations much more interesting.
