To
commemorate
the
first
anniversary
of
Tamil
con
thriller
Rajathandhiram,
its
makers
are
set
to
unveil
the
first
six
minutes
of
Rajathandhiram
2
on
March
13.
Directed
and
produced
by
Senthil
Veeraasamy,
the
film
stars
Veera,
Darbuka
Siva
and
Ajai
Prasath.
"We
have
six-minute
footage
of
the
sequel
and
we
plan
to
release
it
on
March
13
as
it
happens
to
be
exactly
one
year
since
the
release
of
'Rajathandhiram'," Senthil
told
IANS.
The
regular
shooting
of
the
sequel
will
begin
from
June-July
and
will
most
likely
hit
the
screens
towards
the
end
of
the
year.
The
sequel,
according
to
Senthil,
comes
with
a
big
surprise,
which
audiences
will
get
to
know
next
week
through
the
six
minute
video.
Rajathandhiram,
the
tale
of
three
conmen,
received
positive
reviews
from
critics
and
was
also
a
success
at
the
box
office.
The
film
had
Veera
Bahu
and
Regina
Cassandra
playing
the
lead
with
Sandeep
Chowta
composing
the
background
score.
Rajathandhiram
collected
₹12
Crore
worldwide
and
was
declared
a
'hit'
at
the
box
office.
