Finally,
all
the
songs
from
Suriya's
upcoming
movie
24
were
unveiled
today,
right
after
the
audio
launch
event,
which
was
concluded
successfully
a
few
hours
ago.
Composed
by
two
time
Oscar
winning
composer
AR
Rahman,
the
album
of
24
houses
a
total
of
6
tracks,
crooned
by
various
singers,
whose
voices
have
been
used
quite
intelligently
by
the
Mozart
of
Madras.
Naan
Un
Azhaginile
'Naan
Un
Azhaginile'
has
been
sung
by
Arijith
Singh,
Chinmayi
Sripada.
The
song
boasts
of
a
soulful
rendition
by
both
the
singers
and
is
sure
to
make
it
to
your
personal
playlist.
It
has
been
penned
by
Madan
Karky.
Mei
Nigara
Once
again
written
by
Madan
Karky,
'Mei
Nigara'
has
a
monotonous
tune
and
would've
sounded
ordinary,
if
not
for
the
incredible
voices
of
Sid
Sriram,
Jonita
Gandhi
and
Sanah
Moidutty.
Punnagaye
Penned
by
the
legendary
lyricist
Vairamuthu,
'Punnagaye'
is
probably
the
weakest
link
in
the
entire
album.
The
song
somehow
sounds
hoary,
which
comes
across
as
a
surprise.
It
has
been
sung
by
Shashaa
Tirupati
and
Haricharan
Seshadri.
Aararoo
'Aararoo'
is
yet
another
melody
and
as
the
title
suggests,
it
is
a
lullaby
of
sorts.
Sung
by
Shakthisree
Gopalan,
'Aararoo'
is
penned
by
Madan
Karky.
The
song
sounds
soothing
alright,
but
doesn't
have
any
special
attributes.
The
Telugu
version
of
the
same
has
been
crooned
by
actress
Nithya
Menon.
My
Twin
Brother
'My
Twin
Brother'
is
more
like
a
theme
song.
It
has
been
sung
by
Srinivasa
Krishnan
and
Hriday
Gattani.
Don't
be
surprised
if
this
track
is
devoted
to
the
antagonist,
played
by
Suriya.
Kaalam
Yen
Kadhali
And
of
course,
'Kaalam
Yen
Kadhali'
was
released
as
a
single
a
few
days
ago.
Penned
by
Vairamuthu
and
sung
by
Benny
Dayal,
this
peppy
track
is
probably
the
brightest
spot
in
the
entire
album.
Though
the
album
of
24
has
been
lucky
enough
to
have
been
received
warmly
by
music
lovers,
a
common
man
might
not
be
all
that
impressed
with
the
songs.
Given
the
expectations
it
had
prior
to
its
release,
this
album
from
AR
Rahman
has
turned
out
to
be
a
surprise
for
many,
in
a
negative
way.
