'Thirunaal' Weekend (First Three Days) Box Office Prediction

Thirunaal, starring Jiiva and Nayantara in the lead, released last Friday (August 5) in cinema halls all over Tamil Nadu. Directed by Ramnath of Ambasamudram Ambani fame, the film is bankrolled by Senthil Kumar.

Though the movie opened to mixed reviews (mostly negative) from critics as well as fans, its box office prospects look decent, for it may work in B and C centres, according to trade analysts.

Thanks to the film's commercial elements, Thirunaal is predicted to collect close to 5 Crore rupees from its opening weekend (first three days) in Tamil Nadu alone.

Also, since the movie features prominent actors like Jiiva and Nayantara, it might attract more audiences than expected throughout its first weekend.

In the capital city though, it might not perform well at the box office. According to experts, the film may gather 60 to 70 Lakhs from its first weekend in Chennai.
