Vignesh Shivan Ropes In Anirudh & Vijay Sethupathi For His Next!

Director Vignesh Shivan and music composer Anirudh Ravichander have joined hands for the second time in a row for a yet-untitled Tamil project featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, after last year's blockbuster Naanum Rowdydhaan.

"The project is slated to go on the floors later this year. It's tipped to be another romantic comedy along the lines of Vignesh's first film," a source close to the director told IANS.

While the rest of the cast is yet to be finalised, rumour has it that Nayanthara, who had previously worked in Naanum Rowdydhaan, might join the team again. This project is likely to be bankrolled by AM Rathnam.

After failing to impress critics and fans alike with his debut directorial flick Podaa Podi, starring Simbu and Varalaxmi in the lead, Vignesh came back with a bang as his second film Naanum Rowdydhaan went on to become one of the biggest hits of the year.

Can he continue his short success streak with this upcoming project of his? Only time will tell.
