Recently, we had informed you that Thala Ajith will neither participate nor support the forthcoming star cricket tournament, organized by the 'Nadigar Sangam' (Actors' Association).
Since the tournament, which is all set to take place from April 17th at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, is ticketed, the Yennai Arindhaal actor had reportedly said that collecting money from public in order to build the edifice, for which money is being raised at the moment, is malpractice.
Furthermore, it was reported that Ajith recommends his co-stars to pitch in with money in order to complete the construction of the building and that even he is ready to shell out huge sum of money for the noble cause.
Now, according to the latest report, Vishal has hit back at Ajith by saying that the edifice that is about to be constructed is more like a public property and doesn't belong to a particular actor or actress.
He has also reportedly said that the cricket tournament is being held so that each and every artiste including the ones with poor economical conditions can contribute towards the good cause.
He has furthermore added that celebrities can shell out money from their personal bank accounts but that is not something the organisers of the star cricket tournament are looking forward to, as people with a heavier contribution might have an upper hand in the future.
What more, the report also claims that Vishal indirectly attacked Thala Ajith by saying that there are actors who try to seek fame by not attending any social gatherings and even by liquidating their own fan clubs.
It now remains to be seen if Ajith makes a comeback statement, defending his alleged remark on the star cricket tournament, for which the entire Tamil film industry is gearing up.
