Bairavaa Box Office: Joins The Coveted 100 Crore Club!

Bairavaa, the big release of this Pongal season was expected to make wonders at the box office. Rightly, the film has had a phenomenal run in its initial days of its release, despite receiving mixed reviews from the audiences.

The film, which released on January 12, 2017 did make a grand opening and according to confirmed reports, the film fetched 16.61 Crores from Tamil Nadu alone in its first day . Now, latest reports reveal that the film has joined the 100 Crore club considering the worldwide collection, that tto in just 4 days of its run.

This news was officially confirmed by Vijaya productions, the banner under which Bairavaa has been produced. They officially confirmed this through a tweeth that they dend out.

Well, the film did have a decent opening in overseas centres also. Bairavaa, also did strke gold in Kerala, where it fetched close to 2.16 Crores in its opening day.

Importantly, the long weekend has helped Bairavaa in maintaining the collections. In Tamil Nadu, Monday was also a holiday, which has benefitted a lot for the film.

Vijay's previous film Theri was also a member of the 100 Crore club. Let us wait and see whether Bairavaa would continue its good run in the coming days also. Apart from Vijay, Bairavaa also features Keerthy Suresh, Jagapathi Babu, Daniel Balaji, Satish etc., in important roles.
