Yaar
Endru
Therigiratha,
Ivan
Thee
Endru
Purigiratha?
Remember
these
lines
which
comes
as
a
background
song
soon
after
the
classic
transformation
scene
in
the
warehouse,
from
the
2013
blockbuster,
Vishwaroopoom?
The
movie
had
Padmasree
Kamal
Haasan
donning
the
role
of
a
RAW
agent
with
multiple
shades.
Vishwaroopam
went
on
to
become
a
big
hit
and
the
ending
of
the
movie
was
left
with
a
wagging
tail
making
it
evident
that
the
movie
would
soon
be
followed
by
a
sequel.
The
sequel,
Vishwaroopam
2,
was
expected
to
hit
screens
at
the
end
of
the
same
year
but
was
delayed
due
to
unforeseen
reasons
which
were
then
cited
as
production
work
issues.
The
first
part
of
the
movie
was
set
against
the
backdrop
of
United
States
of
America
whilst
the
second
part
is
said
to
be
set
majorly
in
Mumbai,
which
also
infers
the
fact
that
the
production
cost
and
time
consumed
would
be
relatively
less.
However,
the
delay
of
the
movie
completion
and
its
subsequent
release
were
being
eternally
elongated
and
the
movie
was
almost
in
the
semi-shelved
state.
But
the
time
now
has
come
for
the
revival
of
the
movie,
where
the
actor
turned
director
took
it
on
to
his
twitter
account
by
carrying
out
the
much
anticipated
news
to
his
fans.
Kamal
Hassan
was
seen
quoted,
"Happy
to
announce,
Raajkamal
Films
International
has
taken
over
the
responsibility
of
bringing
Vishwaroopam2
within
this
calendar
year
2017."
Ulaga
Nayagan
also
extended
his
tweet
by
quoting,
"Take
it
away
lasses
and
lads.
VR2
is
yours
to
enjoy.
I
persevered
inspite
of
political
interferences.
Was
worth
it.
For
my
Nation
&
me."
The
three-time
national
award
winner,
just
like
the
first
part
of
the
movie
would
be
producing
Vishwaroopam
2
now,
as
the
production
house
in
charge
has
been
taken
over
by
Kamal's
Raajkamal
films
from
the
ace
producer,
V.
Ravichandran's
Aascar
Films.
The
movie
is
also
rumoured
to
witness
a
grand
release
on
the
occasion
of
Diwali
and
thus,
in
all
probabilities
seem
to
be
clashing
with
Vijay-Atlee
combo's
much
awaited
movie.
With
Rajinikanth-Shankar's
magum
opus,
2.O
backing
out
of
the
Diwali
scene,
a
few
notable
films
are
seen
to
be
occupying
the
top
spot
in
order
to
set
the
cash
register
ringing.
Being
made
with
a
good
budget
of
75
Crores,
the
movie
continues
with
the
same
casting
as
of
Part
1
with
the
likes
of
Rahul
Bose,
Pooja
Kumar
&
Andrea
Jeremiah
continuing
to
be
part
of
the
sequel
as
well.
