#SuchiLeaks! Here Is Everything That You Need To Know About Suchitra Karthik And The Controversy!

It's not a new movie release, top star's wedding, audio launch functions or high profile interviews that are creating waves in K-town; #SuchiLeaks is the latest grapevine of Kollywood.

Yes, Suchitra Kumar, a popular playback singer of Tamil Cinema, recently took charge of creating turmoil in the industry by revealing private pictures of star actors and "dark secrets" (as quoted by her) of the industry.

She went ahead and released a few secretive pictures and video clips of stars which included big names such as Dhanush, Anirudh, Trisha, Andrea, Hansika, Chinmayi Sripadha, Divya Darshini & Sanchita Shetty. She also claimed to release footage of the said actor, along with that of Amala Paul.

Suchitra went on to allege that both Dhanush and Anirudh cared for "adjustments" with female colleagues and also claimed that the duo had spiked her drink for personal benefits.

In a recent social media post, Dhanush's sister, K Vimala Geetha, expressed her dissatisfaction and poured her heart out in the form of an emotional write up. Chinmayi Sriprada too, lambasted Suchitra on her twitter account while Sanchita Shetty posted a 20 sec video in her twitter account clarifying the air by confirming the sensitive photo of the actress was not original, and thanked her fans and well-wishers for their support.

Now, who is Suchitra?

Suchitra Karthik Kumar is an Indian playback singer who started her career as a Radio Jockey, who also happens to be a writer. She is married to Karthik Kumar who is a stand-up comedian and an actor.

Suchitra has sung over a 100 songs in three different languages for over 53 movies under as many as 20 different music directors. The playback singer has also lent her voice for over 8 Tamil movies and has acted in 3 movies.

However, the reason for her sudden outburst is yet to be known clearly. A few sources suggested that the multi-talented singer is suffering from mental sickness while her husband-turned-actor claimed her wife's twitter account was hacked. What is more is that, Karthik Kumar also indicated that the series of events could happen to any individual and there is no personal vengeance in her actions. Contradictory?

It is also being highly baffling as the information and pictures which are being shared on twitter are from multiple accounts. While a few details were out from @SuchitreKarthik, a few were doing rounds from @Offl_suchitra. However, her personal handle seems to be @Singersuchi which, however, is not verified by twitter.

Even if her husband's claims are to be considered, it also provides a lot of ambiguity as Suchitra, from her supposedly personal twitter account has retweeted almost all tweets from her followers concerning the subject matter. This further raises many eyebrows of her husband's assertions as Suchitra gives a gist of her inclination towards the issue, which ideally should not have been the case.

It is also learnt, recently that Suchitra is getting a divorce from her husband Karthik Kumar due to insoluble problems. Though she goes gaga over her husband's nature, she claims this to be the solution due to some inevitable reasons.

If Suchitra was enraged by the act of a few of her male colleagues of the industry and wanted to stand up for her rights, then why did she release pictures and videos of her female colleagues which in turn tarnishes the image of certain other women?

A few sections of people as well question as to why Suchitra is not taking the legal path if her intentions are to let secrets out and punish the wrong-doers?
It is also learnt that, Suchitra and Ranjith (Playback Singer) have collaborated under the name of SUCHI & RANJITH for their YouTube channel where the duo's album work could be accessed.
