Vikram Prabhu's next venture, Neruppu Da is touted to be one of the most expected movies in the actor's career after his debut movie, Kumki. The title itself is a catch and captivates the attention of audience as it's an extract from Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali movie's song.

The audio launch of the movie was held in Annai Illam, the residence of Thespian star Sivaji Ganesan, who is also the grandfather of Vikram Prabhu. The audio launch function was graced by the media house, industry folks and a few of the dignitaries which included Superstar Rajinikanth, Vivek, Satyaraj, Raghava Lawrence, Vishal etc.

Every guest of the function spoke high on Nadigar Thilagam's family and wished Vikram Prabhu not just to continue to make good movies but also to carry forward the legacy of his mighty grandfather, Sivaji Ganesan and his father, Prabhu Ganesan.

What Did Rajinikanth, Satyaraj, Raghava Lawrence, Vivek & Vishal Say To the Media?

In addition to star's speeches concerning the movie unit, almost all stars voiced out their opinion on movie reviews which has become the latest trend in the social media.

Superstar Rajinikanth expressed that, movie making business is what industry folks are required to do and reviewing a movie is the wish of an individual. But the way of expressing views and communicating information is what needs to be looked into, he asserted. He also came back with an anecdote and a funny example which conveyed what he intended to.

Thalaiva also had a piece of information for distributors. He advised distributors to buy movies based on its content, market value and evaluation and not going by what the producers say as the latter publicize their movies to be sold at exorbitant costs.

Rajinikanth said it is absurd to see distributors flaunting fancy numbers while buying a movie without much ground work and come back asking for compensation once the movie tanks at the box office.

Satyaraj too, fired on online reviewers and requested them to review and voice out their opinion on movies after a few days of its release and not during its initial weekend. He added, it has been a trend to speak negative about the movie than chalking out the positives of the same as audience tend to believe go by the words of such reviewer who pin points more negative aspects of the movie.

Vivek voiced out his opinion in a very strong manner through his humorous way. The comedy actor exclaimed that the tone and modulation of online reviewers itself, send a negative vibe to the viewers and that has all potential to break the movie prospects. Raghava Lawrence spoke about the statements being doctored by the media.

He quoted a recent incident where Rajinikanth postponed his meet with his fans for photographs as the legendary actor wanted to organize the photo shoot in a finer manner which shouldn't be causing inconvenience to his fans.

However, certain section of media reportedly published that the Kabali Star does not wish to meet his fans. Lawrence also requested the media to call a spade a spade and not send negative waves across the audience.

Vishal too, expressed the same about the movie reviewers claiming that hundreds of families are dependent on a movie's box office prospects and should not be taken on a lighter note.

We wish online reviewers do not take cinema artistes for granted and at the same time wish cinema artists to consider audience seriously and continue to make quality movies.
