Kamal appeared during the Sunday (August 19, 2018) episode of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 and interacted with the contestants. During the discussion, the housemates said that Daniel has a well thought out strategy, while Riythvika is not attached to anyone in the house.

After interacting with the housemates, Kamal told them that Vaishnavi had been eliminated from Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2 and would hence have to leave the house. Not surprisingly, she was quite hurt by this. However, she accepted the verdict nonetheless. Before exiting the house, she said that some of the contestants needed to drop some bad habits in order to go the distance. While Vaishnavi controlled her feelings reasonably well, it was quite clear that she was unhappy about leaving the house just a month before it comes to an end.

After Vaishnavi left the house, Mahat told Balaji, Janani and Riythvika that he wanted to leave the show and asked them to nominate him. He also spoke to Janani about Aishwarya and Yashika's attitude towards Mumtaz. With this, the episode came to an end on a controversial note.
