Dhruv Vikram Birthday Special: The Varma Teaser Is Nice; Will The Film Be As Good As Arjun Reddy?

Last year, the dashing Vijay Deverakonda became the talk of the town when delivered a rocking performance in Arjun Reddy and left the fans asking for more. Directed by Sandeep Vanga, the film was a dark-comedy and featured the young star in an intense avatar. Also featuring Shalini Pandey in the lead, it did well at the box office and received rave reviews from all corners. The film also ruffled a few features courtesy it bold content and kissing scenes and this helped it emerge as the top pick of 'Gen Y'.

With 2017 in the rearview, Arjun Reddy is being remade in Tamil as Varma. The remake features Dhruv Vikram in the lead and it has already created a great deal of buzz amongst the movie buffs. Now, here is some awesome news for those who are waiting for the remake.

Today(September 23, 2018), on Dhruv's birthday the makers of Varma have revealed its official teaser. Needless to say, the teaser is impressive and it has a dark vibe to it. Similarly, Dhruv seems t have done a god job of channeling his inner Devadas.

While quite a few fans have liked the teaser, many of them have liked the teaser, some of them have pointed out that Varma does not seem to be as appealing as Arjun Reddy. Some of them have even said that Dhruv is not as impressive as Vijay Deverakonda.

Varma has been directed by Bala and also features Raiza Wilson in a key role. The film is slated to hit the screens this year and it will be worth watching whether it lives up to the expectations or not.
