There's no denying that Kishore is one of the most talented and popular actors in the Tamil film industry. The soft-spoken and shy star has slowly but surely found firm footing in the industry, thanks to his gripping on-screen image, dashing personality and stunning performances. Over the years, he has worked with some of the best directors in the industry and this has made him a sought-after name. At present, Kishore is gearing up for the release of Vada Chennai.
Directed by Vetrimaaran, the film features Dhanush in the lead and has created quite a lot of buzz amongst the fans, thanks to its gripping teaser. During an EXCLUSIVE chat with Filmibeat, Kishore opened up about his role in Vada Chennai and his rapport with Vetrimaaran.
Speaking about his role, Kishore said that he plays a gangster and revealed that the film deals with some events that take place over a period of three decades.
"I play the role of a gangster and Vada Chennai deals with our journey over a period of three decades. Dhanush's character is a bit younger than mine and his story begins from when he was a kid," said Kishore.
The star went on to add that Vetrimaaran is a splendid director and as an actor, he has full faith in his abilities.
"I took up Vada Chennai as Its a Vertrimaaran film. All of us have tremendous faith in his abilities and trust him fully," added Kishore
Interestingly, Kishore is someone who has worked with Dhanush as well as 'Thalaiva' Rajinikanth. Responding to a question about the similarities between the two, the Kalki actor said that both men are extremely energetic and passionate about their work.
"You really can't compare two individuals. However, if a comparison has to be made the fact is that Dhanush and Rajini sir's choice of roles/films is comparable. Their energy levels too are impressive," he added.
As it so happens, despite having worked with the biggest names in the industry, Kishore maintains a low profile and prefers staying at his farm. Talking about his fondness for farming, the Acha Dhin actor said that farming does not discriminate between the rich and poor and this is its beauty.
"Farming is synonymous with dignity of labour. It does not distinguish between the rich and the poor or a star and a commoner. This why I spend a lot of time on the farm," added Kishore.
Kishore truly is an enigma and we wish him the very best for Vada Chennai. Let's hope that it helps him continue his tryst with stardom.
