Nayan was born on November 18, 2018 to Malayali parents based in Bengaluru. She began her acting career with the 2003 Mollywood release Manassinakkare. Thereafter, she acted in films such as Ayya, Chandramukhi and Ghajini and found a foothold in the film world.
She made her Tollywood debut with Lakshmi and added a new dimension to her career. Her most notable Telugu films are Sri Rama Rajjyam, Greeku Veerudu and Simha.
Of late, she has been doing quite a few female-centric films and this has really worked wonders for her career. Maya, Aramm and CoCo are some of her recent releases that have established has a bankable brand.
At present, she has several films in her kitty. They include Airaa, Aramm 2, and Love Action Drama. She will also be seen in Viswasam and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Viswasam is a Siva directorial and will see her reunite with her Billa co-star Ajith Kumar. On the ther hand, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a magnum opus and it has Chiranjeevi in the lead.
