The
legendary
Kamal
Haasan
is
arguably
the
biggest
and
most
popular
name
in
Tamil
cinema.
A
veteran
in
the
truest
sense,
the
'Ulaga
Nayagan'
is
held
in
high
regard
thanks
to
his
good
looks,
versatility
as
an
actor,
outspoken
nature
and
charismatic
personality.
Over
the
years,
he
has
starred
in
some
of
Kollywood's
biggest
hits
and
this
has
established
him
as
the
heart
and
soul
of
Kollywood.
At
present,
he
is
hosting
Bigg
Boss
Tamil
season
2.
And,
as
expected,
the
show
has
become
the
talk
of
the
town
for
a
variety
of
reasons.
During
an
interview
with
Behindwoods,
Kamal
revealed
that
he
decided
to
host
Bigg
Boss
Tamil
Season
2,
as
it
provides
him
with
a
platform
to
interact
with
people
and
have
some
meaningful
conversations
with
the
contestants.
"Through
Bigg
Boss,
I
can
meet
everyone
at
ease.
If
I
am
able
to
tell
at
least
some
two
lines
of
new
information
to
them
through
one
single
episode,
that
itself
is
enough
for
me,
and
that
is
why
I
decided
to
host
Bigg
Boss.
People
see
me
as
the
Bigg
Boss,
and
my
eyes
have
registered
with
them.
So,
you
know
the
reach," he
added.
He
went
on
to
add
that
those
who
questioned
his
decision
to
host
the
show
had
failed
to
realise
that
it
could
help
him
reach
out
to
the
common
man.
"The
main
thing
is
I
wanted
to
reach
out
to
the
people.
I
wanted
to
talk
to
the
common
people.
When
I
took
up
this
offer,
many
people
questioned
me
and
asked
why
I
had
to
do
this.
But,
they
didn't
understand
the
other
side
of
the
show.
For
instance,
imagine
I
need
to
arrange
for
a
public
or
a
political
meeting,
it
will
consume
so
much
of
time.
Not
just
time,
I
will
have
to
arrange
for
their
travel,
food,
accommodation
and
make
sure
everything
is
fine," said
Kamal.
On
a
related
note,
he
is
currently
awaiting
the
release
of
Vishwaroopam
2.
A
spy-thriller,
it
also
features
Andrea
Jeremiah
in
the
lead.
Directed
by
Kamal
Haasan,
it
is
slated
to
hit
the
screens
on
August
10,
2018.
