Kamal Haasan About Vishwaroopam 2: The Idea Is To Make The Kind Of Movie I Wanted To See

The legendary Kamal Haasan is beyond any doubt one of the most talented and respected names in the Tamil film industry today. The veteran actor-director enjoys a strong fan following thanks to his impressive body of work, outspoken nature and tremendous versatility as an actor. Over the years, he has starred in several big hits and this has established him as a synonym for success. At present, Kamal is gearing up for the release of Vishwaroopam 2. The film is a spy-thriller and has created a reasonable amount of buzz amongst the fans.

During a recent interaction with his fans, the National award winner spoke about working on Vishwaroopam 2 and said that he has come up with the type of film that he would love to watch as a viewer.

"The idea is to make the kind of movie I wanted to see as a film buff. It's the film we keep talking about, wondering why we didn't make it or why we digress or dilute when we do it. We are always appreciative of fast-paced thrillers but we never end up making it," he added.

The Papanasam star went on to add that he enjoys doing his stunts himself and added that adventures are in many ways a part of his profession.

"I enjoyed doing the stunts. I have paid for it in bones, injuries, pain and also applause. Unlike several others, my adventures are also my profession. But it's nice to have a jungle gym in your working place," he added.

Kamal's passion for cinema is truly commendable and we wish him good luck for Vishwaroopam 2.

On a related note, Vishwaroopam 2 has been directed by Kamal himself and is a sequel to Vishwaroopam. It also features Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar in the lead. Vishwaroopam 2 is slated to hit the screens on August 10, 2018.
