A
few
days
ago,
the
independent
film-maker
Leena
Manimekala
accused
director
Susi
Ganesan
of
sexual
misconduct.
And,
as
expected,
this
created
a
great
deal
of
buzz
amongst
the
fans.
Shortly
thereafter,
Susi
Ganesan
rubbished
the
lady's
claims
and
made
it
clear
that
her
allegations
were
incorrect.
Now,
in
a
shocking
development,
actress
Amala
Paul
has
shared
her
#MeToo
story
and
claimed
that
the
Kanthaswamy
director
had
harassed
her
during
the
shoot
of
Thiruttu
Payale
2.
In
her
post,
the
actress
has
claimed
that
she
was
subjected
to
double
meaning
talk
and
'unchivalrous'
contact
during
the
shoot.
"I
support
Leena
Manimekalai's
allegations
and
can
imagine
this
episode
happening
with
her,
from
a
man
who
has
a
twisted
set
of
moral
values
and
utterly
low
respect
for
women.
She
being
an
aspiring
director
could
have
made
her
an
easy
target
for
such
an
incidence
to
take
place.
Me
too
despite
being
the
leading
actress
for
Thirutupayale2
was
subjected
to
double
meaning
talks,
misrepresented
offers
and
unchivalrous
bodily
contacts.
This
pretty
much
made
my
experience
of
shooting
TP2,
a
mentally
fatiguing
one.
I
can
totally
understand
what
she
could
have
been
subjected
through," she
added.
Well,
this
is
quite
a
revelation
and
it
is
bound
to
ruffle
a
few
feathers.
It
will
be
worth
watching
whether
Susi
Ganesan
responds
to
these
allegations
or
not.
In
case
you
did
not
know,
as
part
of
the
#MeToo
campaign,
women
are
naming
and
shaming
sexual
predators.
So
far,
besides
Susi
Ganesan,
the
likes
of
Radha
Ravi
and
Vairamuthu
have
felt
the
wrath
of
the
movement.
