Rajinikanth Not Happy About Petta Release Date? Will The Film Be Postponed?
The legendary Rajinikanth is arguably one of the biggest names in the Tamil film industry today. He enjoys a strong fan following courtesy his humble nature, stylish screen presence, powerful voice, mesmerising performances and versatility as an actor. During his career, he has starred in several big films and this has establisher him as the pride of Kollywood. At present, he is gearing up for the release of 2.0. Once the Shankar directorial hits the screens, 'Thalaiva' will be seen in Petta. The film is a Karthik Subbaraj directorial and it is slated to hit the screens during Pongal.
The makers confirmed this yesterday (November 14, 2018) with an epic poster. Now, here is an unexpected update about the film. According to the latest reports, Rajini is unhappy about Sun's decision to release Petta during Pongal.

As it so happens, Petta is currently slated to arrive in theatres merely 45 days after 2.0. And, needless to say, Rajinikanth feels that this a risky move, which could backfire. It seems that he wants Petta to be released later.
In case you did not know, Petta is a commercial entertainer and it features Rajinikanth in a lively new avatar. The film also features Simran and Trisha in the lead. The supporting cast features names like Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Vijay Sethupathi.
