He won a special jury award in the year 2012 for his performances in the film Kahani and Talaash.

Kollywood's own Bobby Simha is one among the finest young talents of the state and more than once, he has proved his expertise in portraying varied characters. He won the National Award for the Second Best Actor in the year 2014 for the fabulous performance in the film Jigarthanda.
Tirru
Tirru is one among the renowned cinematographers of the country and he is the one who will be handling the cinematography department of this big film. Tirru is also a National Award recipient and he won the Best Cinematography award in the year 2016 for his work in the movie 24.
