Sarkar, the Thalapathy Vijay starrer has made a big impact at the box office and the movie has been raking in huge collections upon its release. In Kerala, the film did get a much celebrated opening with reports suggesting that the movie has set up a new record in terms of opening day collections. At the Kochi multiplexes, which is one among the prominent centres in Keralam, Sarkar did mark its big arrival in style with the film registering a good number of houseful shows. Slight Dip In The Collection
According to the reports that have been doing the rounds on social media, there has been a slight dip in the collections of Vijay's Sarkar in Kerala but still, that was expected since it was a working day.

At the Kochi Multiplexes
At the Kochi multiplexes, the film had fetched approximately 16.20 lakhs on its opening day. On the second day, the film had 45 shows and reportedly, sarkar went on to fetch 9.13 lakhs at an pccupancy rate of approximately 53%.

Decent Collections
Yes, there has been a drop in the collections but afetching close to 9 Lakhs and that too on a working day is indeed a good achievement for the movie. At the same time, there has been an increase in the occupancy rates for the evening shows, which is also yet another positive sign for the movie.

The Days Ahead
Sarkar is expected to gain more power on the upcoming weekend, starting from Friday evening onwards. At the same time, the upcoming weekend will be so crucial for the movie at the Kerala box office.
