SIIMA Awards 2018 (Tamil): Here Are The Winners
It's no secret that 2017 was a splendid and eventful year for fans of Tamil cinema. They were treated to some good films and mind-blowing performances. On one hand, big names such as Vijay and Sivakarthikeyan delivered the goods and proved their mettle. On the other hand, the likes of Vijay Sethupathi and newcomer Aditi Balan too struck gold at the box office. The year also saw Nayanthara deliver a rocking performance in Aramm and prove that she is a 'Lady Superstar'.

Best Director- Atlee For Mersal
The young film-maker Atlee won the ‘Best Director' award and proved that he is force to be reckoned with. Last year, he had become the talk of the town because of his film Mersal
Best Actor Female- Nayanthara For Aramm
‘Lady Superstar' Nayanthara was adjudged the ‘Best Actor' for her rocking performance in Aramm. In the film, she had played the role of a collector and proved her mettle as a performer.
Best Actor Male- Sivakarthikeyan For Velaikkaran
The ‘BO King' Sivakarthikeyan bagged the ‘Best Actor' award for his effective portrayal of a hard-working man in Veaikkaran.
