Not often do we get to see two big movies of two big stars making their entry to the theatres on the same day in Kollywood. Now, it seems like one such instance is in the offing and that too in the near future.
Well, Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi are two of the much loved stars of the present-day Tamil cinema. Both of them have their own set of fan base, which by all means is huge. Going by the reports, it seems like the much-awaited movies of these two popular Tamil actors might have a face-off at the box office. Read on to know more about the same.
Sivakarthikeyan will next be seen in the film Seema Raja, which has been directed by Ponram. The teaser of the film was released a few weeks ago and it promised to be a perfect festival entertainer. Now, if reports are to be believed, the makers are planning to release Seema Raja on September 13, 2018.
Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi's next big release is expected to be 96, which also features Trisha in the lead role. The film has already gained big attention with the song from the film turning out to be a huge hit. Now, certain unconfirmed reports have been doing the rounds that 96 will also hit the theatres on September 13, 2018.
A Big Box Office Clash?
Well, if this turns out to be true, then the upcoming festival season will witness a big box office clash, which is worth waiting for. In fact, it would be for the first time that Sivakarthikeyan and Vijay Sethupathi movies are releasing on the day, after they became huge stars.
Sivakarthikeyan's previous release was Velaikkaran, which had hit the theatres in the month of December 2017. At the same time, Vijay Sethupathi's previous big release was Junga, which had hit the theatres in July 2018. Both the movies had a decent run in the theatres.
