Over the years, he has starred in some of Kollywood's finest films and this has made him an inseparable part of the industry. Now, here is some good news for all his fans. His latest film Vishwaroopam 2, which hit the screens on Friday (August 10, 2018), is doing pretty well at the Chennai box office.

Vishwaroopam 2 got off to a good start on Friday and collected between Rs 70 and 90 Lakh at the Chennai box office on the opening day. It showed remarkable growth on Saturday (August 11, 2018) and Sunday (August 12, 2018). Its 3-day gross stands at around Rs 3 Crore.
Vishwaroopam 2 Is The King Of The BO!
As a result of its fantastic performance over the weekend, Vishwaroopam 2 has emerged as the king of the CBO and completely overshadowed last week's other release Pyaar Prema Kadhal. The Harish Kalyan starrer has clicked with its target audience; however, its overall impact at the box office is not too impressive.
Will A Mixed WOM Affect Vishwaroopam 2?
The general feeling is that Vishwaroopam 2 is a decent film, but it does not do justice to the standards set by the first part. Moreover, the visual effects too seem to be quite outdated. As such, the WOM is mixed and it'll worth watching whether this affects the film in the days to come.
The Way Ahead...
The much-loved Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila is set to hit the screens on Friday (August 17, 2018). And, as expected, it has created a reasonable amount of buzz amongst the fans. As such, it might have some effect on Vishwaroopam 2. However, given Kamal's popularity, this is unlikely to be a cause of worry for the spy-thriller. All in all, one can expect it to rake in more and more money in the days to come.
