Vishwaroopam 2

In case you did not know, Vishwaroopam 2 is a spy-thriller and has been directed by Kamal himself. A sequel to the 2013 release Vishwaroopam, it also features Andrea Jeremiah and Pooja Kumar in the lead. The supporting cast features names such as Rahul Bose and Waheeda Rehman.

Some time ago, Kamal had said that all the characters who were a part of Vishwaroopam are a part of Vishwaroopam 2 as well.

"My producer was multitasking with many films but I have now taken over the responsibility of taking my product to the audience. All the actors are returning, even those who died in the first part. The surprise new addition is Waheeda Rehman ji," he had told a leading daily.

Vishwaroopam 2 is a Tamil-Hindi bilingual and is slated to hit the screens on August 10, 2018.

On a related note, this is a busy time for Kamal. He currently also has Saabash Naidu and Indian 2 in his kitty. Saabash Naidu is a spy-comedy and also features Shruti Haasan in the lead. On the other hand, Indian 2 is a sequel to the 1996 hit Indian and is going to be directed by ace film-maker S Shankar.
