When Superstar Rajinikanth Opened Up About His Favourite Song!

Rajinikanth is undoubtedly the biggest as well as the most revered superstars of the Indian film industry. Despite the huge star status that he holds, he has always made it a point to maintain his down-to-earth nature. In a recent interview given to Zee Tamil, Rajinikanth was at his jovial best and without any inhibitions and starry airs, he gave answers to the questions in the most simple manner.

During the interview, Rajinikanth was asked about his favourite song. Without a second thought, Rajinikanth named the song, 'Ponal Pokattum Poda' as his favourite song. This particular song is from the 1961 Tamil movie Paalum Pazhamum, featuring none other than Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role.

He added that this particular song has been his favourite one since his younger days. The Superstar also opened up that he learned the meaning of the song from one of his friends and became a big fan of the song upon getting to know its meaning. He added that songs convey what life is like.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth's next big release is 2.0, which will be hitting the theatres on November 29, 2018. The film, which brings back the big combo of Rajinikanth and Shankar, is the one for which the entire Indian film audiences have been waiting for.
