RUMOUR HAS IT! Dhanush And Balaji Mohan To Team Up Again After Maari 2?

Dhanush, the National award-winning actor is reportedly on a signing spree, and has some highly promising projects in the pipeline. As per the latest reports, Dhanush is now all set to join hands with the young director Balaji Mohan once again, after the successes of the popular films Maari and Maari 2.

According to the latest reports published by the fans pages of Dhanush, the actor-director duo is joining hands for a complete entertainer very soon. The updates suggest that Balaji Mohan has already begun the scripting of the project, and an official announcement is expected to be made very soon. However, Dhanush and Balaji have not confirmed these reports yet.

The actor-director duo teamed up for the first time for the blockbuster movie Maari, which was released in 2015. Dhanush and Balaji Mohan later joined hands once again in 2018 for Maari 2, the sequel of Maari. The action-comedy, which featured Sai Pallavi as the female lead, is majorly known for the chartbuster song Rowdy Baby.

Dhanush is currently all set to revives his delated second directorial venture Naan Rudhran. If the latest reports are to be believed, the talented actor is planning to co-direct Naan Rudhran, which is said to be a period film with his elder brother, the renowned filmmaker Selvaraghavan. Reportedly, Dhanush will direct the present-day portions of the films, while Selvaraghavan will helm the period portions.

The actor is also all set to join hands with Uthamaputhiran director Mithran Jawahar once again, for his next outing. The project, which is said to be a complete entertainer, has been tentatively titled as D44. The project is expected to have an official announcement, once the coronavirus threat comes under control. Dhanush will be next seen in the upcoming Karthik Subbaraj directorial Jagame Thandhiram, which is slated to hit the theaters once the lockdown ends.
