Vikram,
the
versatile
actor
is
totally
busy
in
his
career
with
some
highly
promising
projects
in
his
career.
As
we
all
know,
Vikram
is
joining
hands
with
the
talented
filmmaker
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon
for
the
first
time
in
his
career,
for
the
ambitious
project
Dhruva
Natchathiram.
Reportedly,
now
the
actor
recently
made
a
special
request
to
Gautham
Menon.
If
the
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Vikram,
who
is
highly
excited
about
the
project,
has
requested
the
filmmaker
to
host
a
special
screening
of
Dhruva
Natchathiram
for
him,
once
the
lockdown
comes
to
an
end.
As
per
the
latest
update,
the
shooting
of
the
film
is
finished
completely
and
the
post-production
will
get
finished
in
another
8-10
days.
For
the
uninitiated,
the
production
of
Dhruva
Natchathiram
has
been
taken
over
by
the
banner
Vels
International
after
the
original
banners,
Ondraga
Entertainment
and
Kondaduvom
Entertainment
ran
into
a
major
financial
crisis.
The
pending
post-production
activities
of
the
project
are
expected
to
resume
amidst
lockdown,
in
a
few
days.
Dhruva
Natchathiram,
which
is
a
dream
project
for
director
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon,
was
announced
in
2013
with
Suriya
in
the
lead
role.
However,
the
actor-director
duo
later
parted
ways
citing
creative
differences
and
the
highly
anticipated
project
was
put
on
the
back
burner
for
a
while.
Later
in
2016,
Gautham
Menon
revived
the
project
with
Vikram
in
the
lead
role,
thus
marking
his
first
collaboration
with
the
National
award-winning
actor.
Initially,
Namma
Veettu
Pillai
actress
Anu
Emmanuel
was
roped
in
to
play
one
of
the
female
leads.
But
the
actress
opted
out
later
citing
scheduling
issues
and
was
replaced
by
Ritu
Varma.
The
project
was
later
delayed
once
again
due
to
financial
constraints.
However,
the
team
later
released
a
teaser
in
June
2018,
thus
hinting
that
Dhruva
Natchathiram
is
still
on
cards.
The
highly
promising
trailer
had
thoroughly
impressed
the
audiences
and
have
raised
the
expectations
over
the
project.
