passed
away
in
a
road
accident
near
Sirumugai,
Mettupalayam
in
Coimbatore,
on
May
15,
2020.
As
per
reports,
the
filmmaker,
also
known
as
Venkat
Pakkar,
was
riding
his
mobike
when
the
accident
happened.
His
bike
collided
with
a
lorry
and
he
died
on
the
spot,
say
reports.
Prasath's
debut
film
4G
with
actor-music
director
GV
Prakash
in
the
lead
is
yet
to
release.
Soon
after
the
news
of
his
death
spread,
GV
Prakash
paid
tribute
to
the
late
director.
He
wrote
on
Twitter
in
Tamil,
"Always
a
friend
and
a
brother.
My
deepest
condolences
to
relatives
and
friends.
Let
his
soul
rest
in
peace."
Incidentally,
Arun's
last
tweet
had
him
appreciating
GV
Prakash.
Arun
Prasath,
also
a
former
associate
of
director
Shankar
is
credited
as
Venkat
Pakkar
in
the
movies.
He
assisted
Shankar
in
the
2015
film
I
starring
Vikram.
Remembering
Arun,
Shankar
wrote
on
Twitter,

the

of
the

and

were

sweet,

and
