GV Prakash Kumar Opens Up About The Next Single From Suriya's Soorarai Pottru!

GV Prakash Kumar, the musician is joining hands with Suriya once again, for the upcoming project Soorarai Pottru. The project has garnered the attention of the audiences much before its release with the three exceptional songs that immediately emerged as chartbusters. Especially, the Veyyon Silli song from Soorarai Pottru has carved a separate fan base for itself among the music lovers.

During a recent live interaction with his fans, music director GV Prakash Kumar revealed some interesting details about the next single of Soorarai Pottru. According to the musician, the next song from the Suriya starrer that awaits the release is Kaattu Payale, a romantic number.

The fourth single of Soorarai Pottru is penned by Snehan and sung by the popular singer Dhee, who rose to fame with the chartbuster Rowdy Baby from Maari 2. The first three songs, Maara theme, Mannurunda, and Veyyon Silli, hints that the Suriya starrer has a highly promising music album in store for its audiences.

Recently, the highly celebrated Veyyon Silli single from Soorarai Pottru has crossed 10 Million views on YouTube. The song, which is sung by the Agam band fame Harish Sivaramakrishnan is a romantic number that is written in authentic Madurai slang. The song is penned by the popular lyricist Vivek.

Soorarai Pottru, which marks Suriya's first collaboration with the talented filmmaker Sudha Kongara, was originally slated to be released on April 14, 2020. But as per the latest reports, the movie has been postponed and is expected to be released on August 15, 2020, as an Independence day special release.

The Suriya starrer features Aparna Balamurali as the female lead. Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Urvashi, Mohan Babu, Karunas, Sampath Raj, Vivek Prasanna, and so on appear in the supporting roles. Soorarai Pottru is bankrolled by Suriya and Guneet Monga, under the banners 2D Entertainment and Sikhya Entertainment.
