      Jagame Thandhiram: The Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj Project To Release After 'Jagam Heals'

      Dhanush, the National award-winning actor is joining hands with the talented filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj for the first time, for Jagame Thandhiram, the upcoming project. Jagame Thandhiram is unarguably one of the most awaited upcoming films of the Tamil cinema industry. Recently, Y Not Studios, the banner which bankrolls the Dhanush-Karthik Subbaraj film made an interesting revelation about its release.

      The makers took to the official Twitter page of the banner and revealed that Jagame Thanthiram will hit the theaters once the coronavirus threat comes to an end. 'Coming Soon to Cinemas. After our 'Jagam' heals. #JagameThandiram #JagameTantram', reads the tweet. The banner has also shared a new interesting poster of both the Tamil and Telugu versions, along with the tweet.

      Earlier, it was reported that the first teaser of Jagame Thandhiram will be released on May 1, 2020, international labours day. However, the makers later cancelled the plans as the trailer of the movie is not ready yet due to the national lockdown. The post-production of the Karthik Subbaraj has been put on hold due to the same.

      The team had revealed the motion poster of Jagame Thandhiram on February 19, 2020. The highly promising motion poster, which hinted that something special is in store for the audiences, had immediately taken the social media by storm. The dining table sequence in the motion poster that seems to be inspired by the 15th-century painting 'The Last Supper' by Leonardo Da Vinci, had garnered the attention of audiences.

      Dhanush, the lead actor is appearing in a double role as Prabhu and Suruli in the movie. Aishwarya Lekshmi and Sanchana Natarajan appear as the female leads opposite the actor in the movie. Jagame Thanthiram features an extensive star cast, including Kalaiyarasan, Malayalam actor Joju George, and Game Of Thrones fame James Cosmo, and so on in the supporting roles.
