Annaatthe, the highly anticipated upcoming family entertainer will mark Rajinikanth's first collaboration with hitmaker Siva. The shooting of the movie, which was put on hold due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, is all set to be resumed. As per the latest reports, Rajinikanth is planning to join the sets of the movie, in October 2020.
If the latest reports are to be believed, the superstar will resume the shooting of the Siva directorial on October 10, 2020. The next schedule of the movie will go on floors in the famous Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad, on October 10. Along with Rajinikanth, the leading ladies Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh will also join the sets on the same day.
Earlier, it was reported that just Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh will resume the shooting in October, while Rajinikanth will join the sets later. However, the latest reports suggest that the superstar has decided to resume the shooting, following all safety guidelines implemented by the government.
As per the reports, Rajinikanth is planning to travel to Hyderabad from Chennai in his car. The rest of the actors are expected to reach Hyderabad in a couple of days. The sources suggest that the makers are keen to wrap up the shooting of the project by the end of 2020 or the beginning of 2021. If things go as planned, Annaatthe will hit the screen for Summer 2021.
Coming to the star cast, senior actresses Khushboo and Meena are playing the pivotal roles in the movie, which is expected to feature Bollywood star Jackie Shroff as the lead antagonist. Prakash Raj and Soori play the key roles in the movie, which is scripted by director Siva himself. Annaatthe is bankrolled by the prestigious banner Sun Pictures.
