Bigil,
the
Vijay
starring
blockbuster
was
making
headlines
after
the
rumours
which
suggest
that
the
movie
incurred
losses
started
doing
rounds
on
social
media.
Recently,
a
leading
media
portal
had
also
suggested
that
AGS
Entertainment,
the
production
banner
that
bankrolled
Bigil
has
faced
losses
despite
the
movie
being
the
highest
grosser
of
Vijay's
career.
However,
Archana
Kalpathi,
the
creative
producer
of
Bigil
slammed
the
reports
through
her
official
Twitter
page
recently.
Archana
took
to
her
page
to
retweet
the
post
made
by
Vijay
Fans
page
which
reads:
'AGS
Productions
@archanakalpathi
has
denied
the
reports
which
state
that
#Bigil
has
incurred
a
loss
of
20
crores,
no
such
interview
was
given
by
her!!'.
She
also
captioned
her
tweet
'Yes.

Thank
you
🙏',
thus
putting
an
end
to
the
rumours.
According
to
the
gossip
mongers,

which
was
made
with
a
whopping
budget
of
Rs.
180
Crores,
had
incurred
losses
worth
Rs.
20
Crores.
Even
though
Archana
had
slammed
the
rumours
in
a
recent
interview,
the
speculations
did
not
end.
In
the
meanwhile,
a
group
of
netizens
has
been
alleging
that
the
rumours
which
suggest
that
Bigil
incurred
losses
have
been
planted
by
the
management
of
AGS
Productions,
themselves.
According
to
this
group,
the
banner
is
planting
fake
stories
regarding
the
losses
in
order
to
convince
Vijay
to
join
hands
with
them
once
again
for
a
new
project.
However,
Archana
Kalpathi
chose
to
not
react
to
these
allegations.

which
marked
Vijay's
third
collaboration
with
director
Atlee
Kumar
after
the
great
successes
of
Theri
and
Mersal,
had
made
a
lifetime
collection
of
Rs.

from
the
worldwide
box
office.
The
movie,
which
featured
Nayanthara
as
the
female
lead
opposite
Vijay,
has
also
completed
100
days
at
the
releasing
centers
and
emerged
as
the
