Vijay Sethupathi To Join Kamal Haasan-Lokesh Kanagaraj Project?
Vijay Sethupathi, the Makkal Selvan of Tamil cinema is totally busy with some highly promising projects in the pipeline. If the latest reports are to be believed, Vijay Sethupathi is all set to join the star cast of the upcoming Kamal Haasan starrer, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The project, which is tentatively titled as Kamal Haasan 232, is expected to feature the talented actor in a pivotal role.
Even though the Ulaganayagan has been confirmed to be playing the central character in the movie, the makers are yet to kickstart the casting for other roles. As of now, apart from Kamal Haasan and director Lokesh Kanagaraj, music director Anirudh Ravidhander is the only crew member who has signed the project. But, the reports suggest that there are chances for Vijay Sethupathi to be a part of the project, considering his great professional rapport with both the senior actor and young filmmaker.
As we all know, Vijay Sethupathi and Lokesh Kanagaraj have teamed up for the upcoming action thriller Master, which features Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role. The actor is playing the lead antagonist in the highly anticipated project which is bankrolled by XB Creations. Reportedly, Vijay Sethupathi's character in the movie, Bhavani, is a notorious goon. Master is expected to hit the theaters once the lockdown ends.
The Super Deluxe actor is also said to be planning to join hands with Kamal Haasan for the first time, for the veteran actor's upcoming directorial venture, Thalaivan Irukkindraan. In Tamil, Vijay Sethupathi has some highly promising projects in the pipeline including his Bollywood debut Laal Singh Chaddha, Laabam, Tughlaq Durbar, Maamanithan, Vignesh Shivan directorial Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaaadhal, Mani Ratnam's anthology web series, and so on.
