Vijay To Join Hands With Mersal Makers Once Again!

Vijay, the Thalapathy of the Tamil film industry is totally busy in his career with some interesting projects in the pipeline. If the latest reports are to be believed, the Master star is now all set to join hands with the makers of his 2017-released film Mersal, Thenandal Studio Limited, once again.

Recently, the reports published by a leading daily has suggested that Hema Rukmani, the CEO of Thenandal Studio is in talks with Vijay for an upcoming project. Murali Ramasamy, the representative of the production banner recently confirmed the reports in a recent interview given to an online portal, to the much excitement of the Vijay fans.

In the interview, Murali Ramasamy finally revealed that Mersal was not a failure, but was a profitable venture for the banner. He also added that the management of Thenandal Studio has been constantly in touch with Vijay, and had a detailed conversation with him 10 days back. Both the actor and the banner are keen to join hands for a new project very soon.

If the latest reports are to be true, Thenandal Studio Limited will soon team up with Vijay for the upcoming project Thalapathy 65, directed by AR Murugadoss. The banner is reportedly planning to co-produce the project, which is a sequel to the blockbuster movie Thuppakki, along with Sun Pictures. An official announcement on the same is expected to be revealed soon.

Mersal, the action thriller featured Thalapathy Vijay in triple roles, marked the actor's second collaboration with hitmaker Atlee Kumar. Vijay appeared in the role of Vetrimaaran, and his sons Vetri and Dr. Maaran in the movie, which featured Nithya Menen, Samantha Akkineni, and Kajal Aggarwal as the female leads. AR Rahman had composed the songs and background score for the project.
